A blend of light, medium and heavy rums distilled in Angostura’s continuous still to different intensities before each being matured in hand-selected Bourbon Oak casks for a minimum of seven years. After blending, the final rum is returned to mature in bourbon oak casks to allow the blend to marry.
Angostura® 7 Year Old is a powerful and flavoursome rum with a pleasing dark amber hue. It has subtle notes of treacle, chocolate and a gentle smokiness, whilst the palate is rich and powerful with a tantalising hint of burnt spice.
