These grapes were sourced from our Longbend Vineyard situated in the Dillon’s Point area of Marlborough. These soils are typically high in Saline and give the finished wine a very unique character. The vineyard is distinctive in that it runs East West and is certified organic. These grapes were harvested in the cool hours of the morning, gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel vats.
This wine continues to amaze us with its mix of power and elegance. Upfront nettles and a touch of minerality on the nose combine well with black currants passion fruit notes and a subtle briney character on the palate. The finish is long and persistent.
