Misunderstood started out of our kitchen in Montclair, NJ with a dream to create easy drinking whiskey made with honest ingredients that could be enjoyed by just about everyone!
Made with real good whiskey and real good ginger! Misunderstood is a blend of select bourbon and American whiskey, aged in American oak barrels, & finished with two types of real ginger for an award-winning, refreshingly distinct smooth taste. Our ginger recipe balances perfectly with the soft and subtle sweetness of our high corn mashbill, making Misunderstood approachable for rookies, yet complex enough for connoisseurs. Proudly blended and bottled at 80 proof in Bardstown, Kentucky.
