Five generations of Grants have stood together through thick and thin to hold the title of Scotland’s oldest continuously family-run, blended whisky makers. On the nose Grants Scotch Whisky is complex, clean with notes of ripe pear and summer fruits. The taste balances vanilla sweetness with malty and light floral fragrances. The finish is long and sweet with a subtle hint of peat.
In 1957, Grant’s was first sold in a triangular bottle. The designer, Hans Schleger, came to Britain as a refugee from Germany. He was asked to create a distinctive, elegant bottle that would showcase the quality and colour of the whisky as well being able to be stacked and packed efficiently.
